That is quite the vehicle. Perfect for intermittent floods and such. Steering is still on the wrong side though.

Not the ideal thing to fall out of while "tired and emotional" eh?

My wife opened the door and fell out into a deep concrete storm drain one evening....the rear two wheels of the car were already in it!

Fortunately, it was one of those hydraulic self leveling Citroens, and front wheel drive, so I cleverly managed to get it out without assistance. It was all her fault anyway as she kept forcing me to drink the very good local white Provencal wine.

It didn't do her back much good.....

Must be something about French cars. My father had a Renault 16TS when he met my mother. On exiting the car on one of their dates, she caught her dress on the seat adjustment lever which tripped her, causing her to fall out of tge car. My father was standing on the other side of the car (claims) he didn't see this happen, but he hears her calling for his help. He walks around the car to find her laying in the drain, legs pinned to the side of the car. The door had fallen shut on her dress which was still hooked to the seat adjuster inside the car.

What Citroen did you have Hal? After the Renault Father had a1974/5 Citroen DS, it took me a very long time to forgive him for selling it.
